The NLC’s first away match of the season, we arrived at The Reform brimming with vigour. We had our strongest team out, had blown some rust away against the O&C the previous week, and were ready to score our first Hamilton-Russell points. And we did just that.

But it was not just about chess. After hostilities were over the Reform treated us to a lovely dinner.
