Another Gladstone clash. This time it was Mister Widdicombe v Mister Giffin QC. It was a scrappy game with slips and blunders abound. But a chess game is won by the player who makes the penultimate blunder, and in this case it was a relieved (and somewhat lucky) Mister Widdicombe.
